Denmark's most famous composer, Carl Nielsen, came from humble beginnings and constantly challenged musical boundaries. His symphonies and songs are now a part of Denmark's cultural identity. The Carl Nielsen Museum, located in Odense's musical quarter, features a three-part exhibition. The first section focuses on Carl Nielsen as a person, his era, and influences. The next section explores the composer through four themes: awakening, resistance, crisis, and reconciliation. The final part highlights his music, where fragments of his works are combined into a musical collage.
