Flere Fugle is a bakery with a unique atmosphere, located in a charming, tucked-away courtyard on Rentemestervej in Copenhagen's North West district. But it’s more than just a bakery – here, you’ll also find a pizzeria and event space, where you can enjoy quality bread, bistro dishes, drinks, and expertly brewed coffee from the Aarhus-based roastery, La Cabra.
Flere Fugle is set in a former auto repair workshop, now transformed into Demokratigaragen, a democratic community space buzzing with social connections. Although it’s part of the Demokratigaragen community, Flere Fugle is run by the team behind Fovl café, also based in the North West area. The space offers a cosy and welcoming interior, with seating both inside and out. The menu changes daily but always focuses on excellent baked goods.
There are often concerts and other events in the relaxed surroundings – and, of course, activities tied to the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
