At Designmuseum Denmark, you can explore the modern craftsmanship and design of this century. The museum is housed in Denmark's first public hospital, where Søren Kierkegaard passed away in 1855. Inside, you'll find collections from notable figures in Danish design, such as Poul Henningsen, Kaare Klint, and Arne Jacobsen. The museum also features historical collections of European and Asian craftsmanship and industrial art.
After your tour, visit the museum's fascinating shop or enjoy a meal at the café, which is, of course, furnished with Danish design and home decor. During the summer, you can dine in the beautiful Grønnegård. Adjacent to the museum is the exhibition space Officinet, where selected Danish artisans display their work.
