Frederiksberg Garden is a green oasis in the midst of the bustling city. You can park right by Frederiksberg Garden at Q-Park's parking lot near Copenhagen Zoo. The park has been publicly accessible since 1852. Within the park, you'll find remnants of both a baroque garden and a romantic landscape garden from the time of Frederick IV. Frederiksberg Garden spans 31.7 hectares, featuring lakes, canals, and various types of trees and bushes in this popular destination on Frederiksberg. The park borders Copenhagen Zoo, and it's even possible to see the elephants from the park.
During the summer, various cultural events take place in the garden, including Midsummer's Eve celebrations. The park is owned by the state and maintained by the Agency for Palaces and Cultural Properties.
