The Black Diamond, a striking extension of the Royal Library from 1999, houses cultural treasures, concerts, and a café with harbour views. Designed by Schmidt Hammer & Lassen, the building blends modern architecture with the historic library from 1906. In addition to reading rooms, the Diamond offers exhibitions, author talks, and lectures.
