Aarhus Teater is a historic theater located in the heart of Aarhus. The theater has four stages with a total of 1,200 seats. The listed building was designed by architect Hack Kampmann and inaugurated in 1900. The theater season runs from early September to mid-June, featuring around 15 in-house productions and several guest performances. Aarhus Teater is a prime example of Jugendstil, an architectural style that influenced architects across Europe in the early 20th century, making it a unique architectural landmark.
