Don't Forget Your Car Clock When Changing to Daylight Saving Time

With spring sunshine and outdoor activities in focus, it’s easy to forget that your car clock doesn’t adjust itself. And if your car clock is incorrect, you also risk setting your parking disc incorrectly—a mistake that could result in an unwanted note from the parking attendant.

Is Your Electronic Parking Disc Updated?

If you have an electronic parking disc, be aware that not all models automatically update for daylight saving time. It’s a good idea to double-check to ensure it displays the correct time.

"Our job is to ensure that parking spaces are used correctly in the areas where we manage parking control," says Q-Park’s director, Alex Pedersen. "Our parking attendants can only rely on the parking disc, so we encourage all drivers to pay close attention to their time settings."
